I just acquired a nice dcm fleetwood,..







It has 58,700 miles on it,.

It;s very nice,.

A man with truly good taste!

I drove it home today,. roads were dry and it was nice and sunny,.
The car drives very nice,. no rattles squeaks or wind noises,.oh so smooth,.!
It is really nice to look at all the switches and knobs etc, that look so new and clean,.
Interior really is immaculate,. heated seats work well,.
Typical bone stock lt1 car, turning off the traction control seems to wake it a bit,.(one tire fryer)
but i really don't like the long gears,. 3:73's would be nice,.
It really is beautiful, for a rust belt area car,.
The hood has 3 ugly stone chips, i am planning on havng the hood repainted and blended into the front fenders,. along with the front bumper filler, the clear coat on the filler has failed on one corner,.
I will add a nice set of stock chrome caddy wheels, and have the white walls cut to 1.5",.
and the obligatory 5% window tint,.
everything else will stay factory stock,.
I also have the original gold keys, the cadillac pen and calculator, that came in the original owners package along with the original keys' knock out key code, all very cool little extra's

I'll keep posting pictures,.

I cant make up my mind whether I like these or not...Really depends on that color combo.

I would suggest its all about preference. My 85 Brougham came with the same colour combination plus all the optional gold accents (gold wreath, gold highlighting on the grill, wire wheel covers, door handles etc.) and found it look tacky. Really cheapened up the look of the car. First mods to the car was getting rid of all the gold crap. The second was to lose the Olds 307 and replaced it with the 350 diesel. Best move ever.

The PO obviously liked the gold as he ordered it that way but I had a totally different opinion. Otherwise I still say that car was and still is my favourite one of the bunch. Really hurt when I had to part it out.

I agree with Silverfox , really liking the rims and color . Gives the caddy a whole new look .

Needs some front shocks,. 373's, big brakes on all four corners,. and,..........er wait,. i,m keeping it stock.

same old wheels but they are deteriorating rapidly,. while they have been in our basement,.they are rotting from the inside out,. such a waste of money,.

I had the rest of the car (front doors back) treated with a process from company called restorfx,.

The results were bloody amazing,. looks like i painted the whole car now,..
windows done with the obligatory 5%,....

Nice tint. I'm pretty bummed BC doesn't allow ANY tint on the front windows. I had to have the tint removed from both wagons to pass inspection.

sad update,.

we took the car to dairy queen,. sunday night,. and somebody put a key scratch on the front fender,..

I parked 20 ft away from any other cars too,...

it has made me quite sad,..so it'll have to go back to the paint shop again,..
