Rockford P16 Great Fitment-Factory Tweeters?

Rockford Fosgate P16 6"s and 6x9s fit perfect in the OEM locations. I kept the factory tweeters hooked up in the front doors. Should I disconnect them?

I'd leave 'em. I left the ones in my little daily driver Century and definitely notice their presence.

Word, thanks. I wasn't sure they would negatively affect the sound quality since the OEM speakers are garbage. I punched a whole in a 6x9 accidentally and there was no difference to the sound. I didn't realize the tweeters were an option for Concert Sound II? Hahaha, what a difference compared to my BMW....hell even my F350 has a bad ass stereo from the factory. Far cry now days to what used to come from the factory.

Let us know how they work out! I have tweeters in mine as well. My factor speakers have heard better days.

For the Roamdaster, yes. Caprice and OCC are miserable 4x6 fronts.

is 6" an odd size? seeing mostly 5 1/4, 6 1/2, 6 3/4

It's 6.5/6.75.

Is the stereo/head unit standard size? Looks like a double din might fight, want it to look nice.
