I bought a 92 Trans Am in 2000 that had spent its first few years in NJ and only had 67k on it. The thing was a crusty mess underneath.

Take a close look at the wheels. That's one indication of the amount of salt this car has seen. There is also rust at the seams at the rear glass and tailgate.
